OW CALENDAR AND PLANNER
Students are responsible for completing each day's lessons on schedule. Due dates are listed for each assignment and each assignment should be completed and submitted by the due date. Students will also need to complete their corrections each school day. Parents should check the OW Courses tab to see that their child is completing the required work each day. Go to the Courses Tab. Click on the subject and then click on the current unit to view the assignment list. Get in the habit of checking the assignment list for each subject from the Courses tab each day to make sure your child has completed the day's lessons.
OW PROJECTS
Students need to complete assigned unit projects and experiments in order. These may be viewed from the Courses tab to see the order in which they should be completed. Click on the individual subject and then the corresponding unit. Students should finish assigned projects and experiments before asking the teacher to unblock unit tests. Some teachers have a separate website where students can find more information for some project. The teacher will direct the student there if needed.

OW QUIZZES & TESTS
Students are allowed to enter and exit quizzes and tests once to print or make a PDF, and then again to add their answers online. Students should use the tests like study sheets to go back through the lessons. Completing open book tests allows the student to review the lessons material and student notes. Reviewing the the lessons and material like this should help students learn and retain more.
Students should open the quiz or test and print it without answering or submitting any questions online. First click on the PRINT icon and from that window choose to either print it or create a PDF to use. Then EXIT the test by clicking on the Turn it in button. No answers should be entered until the student returns to add all the answers from the printed worksheet or PDF. When the student is ready to add the answers, he should open the test for the second time and enter his answers from the printed test (or PDF). Quizzes and tests do not automatically reset for corrections so it is important for each student to take time to do well.
OW COURSE LESSON LISTS
Students can view a list of their subjects, units, and lessons for each of their courses by following these directions.. First click on the COURSES tab. There you will see a list of all the courses the student is enrolled in. To see all the units for a particular course, click on the course name. To view a list of lessons for any specific unit, click on the line with the unit name. The lessons will be listed, and all completed assignments can be opened from this area for students to review. Parents can use this list to see if their student has completed the assignments with today's date. For a student to be on target, all assignments should be completed through today's date. Any lesson from today's date that is still assigned at the end of the day, should be completed as homework in the evening. Students should make it a point to be caught up on due dates as they begin school again each Monday. Points can be deducted for late work so it is important to make sure to begin each new week on schedule.
