Service Project: Complete the Service Project Assignment Requirement this week. See the instructions and details below.
To help incorporate more kindness and service into our everyday life we can look for ways to help others through service projects. Doing something for someone else can make a big difference for the giver (you) and the receiver (those you help). Doing something for others allows you to not only connect and give back to your community, but also help show you that you can make a difference. And there is nothing more empowering than that!
Tuesday (18th)- Develop an idea. Visit with a parent about what you are thinking.
Wednesday (19th)- Gather supplies and work on your project.
Thursday (20th)- Complete the project.
Friday (21st)- Use Microsoft Word to write about your project. Write a paragraph or two describing your idea and how you carried it out. Reflect on how it made you feel to do something for someone besides yourself. Describe the person’s reaction to your service to them. Remember to proofread your paper before sharing it with Mrs. Wilt

Begin by brainstorming things you could personally do to help someone outside your home. You may choose from this list of ideas or use it to help you think of other ways to serve someone.
