Tips to Help Your Students
- Establish a bedtime routine a few weeks before school begins to help students adjust to a school schedule.
- Establish a morning routine as well to help students adjust to waking on time and preparing for the school day.
- Set up a place where your students will work on school each day.
- Stock up on essential school supplies: pencils instead of pens, eraser, crayons or markers, spiral notebook for math and other subjects, graph paper, protractor, and ruler.
- Students should get into a school routine where most school days they are working when their teachers are on duty. Begin this routine on our first day, and continue it throughout the school year.
Parents of our most successful virtual students are engaged in their children’s learning to provide oversight, guidance, accountability, and encouragement.

Student Attendance and Progress Requirements:
Closely follow the due dates each day in each course. Take time to read through each section of the lesson before answering the questions in the lesson. Remember to check your answers by referring back to the material provided in the lesson. You should always take your time to learn the most and do your best.
High school and middle school students should find they need to spend an average of about 30 to 45 minutes per assignment to do well. Longer assignments could take up to one hour or more. Younger students should spend an average of about 30 minutes per lesson with some taking longer. All students should spend enough time to learn the material and do their best.
Students are encouraged to have regular attendance and start on time each school day. Any illness, absence, or late start time notification should be emailed to Mrs. Wilt from the parent or guardian for the student's file. Mrs. Wilt will notify all the student's teachers so they are aware. If a different schedule is needed for your child, please speak with Mrs. Wilt to arrange it.
