To keep on target for the school year students should follow the due dates and complete their work each week according to that schedule. The goal should be to work enough time to stay caught up with the work assigned for that week. We understand that some of our Adult Learners will work mostly on their days off and as time allows throughout the work week. Making sure the week's lessons are completed before we begin a new one will ensure progress and keep students on schedule. Students may also work ahead as time allows. Students may complete as many courses as time allows, but we ask each student to plan on completing a minimum of six credits each school year. It is possible to complete our program in one school year..
Students should remember to keep in contact with their teachers throughout the week by checking email, OW messaging, and Skype for updates. Please remember to reply to let your teacher know you have received their messages.
We are excited for each of our students in our Adult Diploma Program as they get closer to completing their high school work and earning their diplomas! DP Students may finish at anytime during the school year by completing all required courses needed to meet the requirements for graduation. A diploma will be issued once everything is completed and recorded.
P.E. Logs ~
DP Students enrolled in P.E. will be required to keep a log for P. E. credit. Please check with the program coordinator if you are not sure if you need this credit. The time and activities should be recorded on our official log which can be downloaded from the FORMS tab.. Students enrolled in Physical Education are required to log 60 minutes each school day or an average of 5 hours per week for a minimum of 80 hours for the semester. A picture of the log will need to be emailed to the Program Coordinator, Mrs. Wilt, at the end of each required semester.
